Today I have found some more articles on body image and the effect it has on women. The first one was found on www.healthyplace.com/communities/eating_disorders/body_image_advertising. The information obtained from this article turned out to be useful and included the results of some recent surveys into women and their appearance, such as 69% of girls said that magazine models influence their idea of the perfect body shape and 68% felt worse about their own appearance after looking through women's magazines. Another article I found on http://hkuspace.wordpress.com/ mentioned the messages behind the advertisements of cosmetic products this article wasn't as usueful as it didn't directly relate to my product

A video I found on youtube after doing a search entitled body image and advertising turned out be really useful. It consists of numerous images accompanied by music and every now and again captions of writing appear on the images containing statistics about body image. The video shows how society is bombarded with images of skinny models especially in major advertising campaigns.
